Never paracetamol
A single tablet kills a cat. It is the most common accidental poisoning we hear about and it is usually somebody trying to help.
Essential oils and cats do not mix
Tea tree oil especially, whether applied or diffused in a closed room. Cats cannot clear the compounds.

Call us now rather than waiting for symptoms, and if the cat is already twitching or fitting this is a genuine emergency. Wash the product off with dish soap and warm water while you are on the phone.
How do I get a tablet into a cat?
A pill in soft food usually loses to a cat that eats round it. A pill popper is faster and calmer than fingers, and many drugs come as a liquid or a spot-on instead. Ask, rather than fighting the same battle twice a day.
