This is a bowl for dogs and cats. For feeding and watering, which sounds too obvious to think about and is not. Raised bowls suit some large or older animals and are not a universal upgrade. If yours eats comfortably at floor level, leave it alone. Wash it daily. A bowl topped up rather than washed grows a biofilm you can feel with a finger, and it is the reason some pets go off their food.
